20 May 2020
Dear BADT Members,
I hope you all are keeping well in these difficult and uncertain times, it certainly has not been the smoothest of runnings with regards to dental services.
I would like to bring you all some positive news about the BADT conference. A new confirmed date is set and we will hopefully be seeing you all in the Spring on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 March 2021, when the gates of Crewe Hall (Cheshire) will be open and we will welcome many dental therapists and dental hygienists with an excellent programme for all.
On Friday 19 March 2021 we will have an Occlusion Specialist – Rahat Ali (consultant from Liverpool University) exploring the importance of dental occlusion for dental therapists and dental hygienists. Followed by Yulli Tamayo-Myerson (current president of the British Society of Myofunctional Therapy and hygienist) joined by Dr Charlotte Van-Belle exploring what myofunctional therapy is, how they implement this with patients and case reviews. Finally ending the day with Susan Wingrove (Dental Hygienist from America) to provide her well-known dental implant lecture and hands-on workshop.
On Saturday 20 March 2021 we will be joined by Dr Louis Mackenzie (a private dental clinician and a clinical lecturer at Birmingham dental school) who will provide a lecture exploring anterior and posterior composites followed by a hands-on practical exercise on posterior composites.
A Spring conference is something new for BADT, and as the seasons change from Winter to Spring, we will have something positive to look forward to and celebrate, as the evenings start to turn lighter and we can socialise and connect with many old, new colleagues and friends.
We are currently working on updating the programme and will contact you all again when we have bookings open for this event. But for now make sure you SAVE THE DATE!
Please remember if you require support; you can contact our 24-hour phone line 07312 101963 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. If your enquiry is specific to conference you can also email email@example.com.
Stay Safe and Keep Thinking Positive Thoughts!
